Telangana of RTC was first established as the Nizam State Rail & Road Transport Department (NSR-RTD) a wing of the Nizam State Railway in Hyderabad State, in 1932, with 27 number of buses and 166 members of employees.
APSRTC - Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation was established in act of Road Transport Corporations Act 1950 in the date of 11-01-1958 under.
On June 02, 2014 Telangana was separated by Andhra Pradesh, TSRTC and APSRTC are operating as separate Transportation.
The KCR Government of Telangana State was subsequently established. The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), on April 27, 2016, under the Road Transport Corporation Act, 1950.
TSRTC Corporation is operating 10,460 buses from 97 RTC Bus Depots. There are above 364 bus stations in Telangana State.
